I am passionate about discovering the true potential of innovative ideas, talented people, entrepreneurial ventures and original brands. After observing very different people in various social settings I am more than ever convinced that following one’s own way and experiencing the act of creation in harmony with our values is what make us happy. No fame, money or power can be a substitute for inner drive and joy to be oneself.
All life events happen with good purpose, but often only later we appreciate their meaning and value. My education combined analytical chemistry, business administration, marketing, advertising and investments. Professionally I have 12+ years of comprehensive asset management experience - both tangible (money) and intangible (ideas, brands and human capital). Diverse stimulus is the best food for creative synthesis, right?
Currently I am researching the role of Trust and Reputation in uncovering group effort potential. The roots are in leading teams of incredibly talented people towards bold goals and having to fight every day with what I call “Post-soviet anti-group mentality”.
My strong belief is that the greatest things on Earth happen thanks to interdependent effort of people driven by one common goal and sharing similar set of fundamental values. This is equally true for innovative start-up venture, student association, non-profit team or the entire nation. Historically our countries were always lacking social capital, but now this might become a core bottleneck for future growth (fueled by innovation, not oil exploitation). If true, then any improvement in social capital accumulation would bring enormous rewards for you and me and the society at large.
Sounds idealistic? It’s not, as these are questions of existence as creative human being and not as a destructive weed. So they have quite practical meaning to me.

It’s coverage includes all major personal finance channels, including banking, investing, debt management and insurance. Launched publicly a few months ago (08.08.08) in beta version, Maanimo.com is already the leading aggregator of rates and other information on deposits (8,270+ programs) and also provides information on other financial products, including bank safes, mortgages and auto loans. Soon to be added - credit cards, online banking fees, leasing, mutual funds, SME finance and various insurance products. Maanimo.com surveys 100+ Ukrainian banks on weekly basis in order to provide clear, objective, and unbiased rates to consumers. In addition to rate data, the company presents personal finance editorial content to help consumers make informed financial decisions.

One research asked retired people what in their life they regretted the most and unanimous answer was: “Not the most painful mistakes we made, but the things we could do and didn’t dare to…” This explains why I jump-started myself and moved to investments business. Also special kudos to GSB professors who talked about finance like moms about kids. To my surprise there was as much of CAPM theory, valuation models and macroeconomics here as of marketing, social psychology and creativity. Investment management is the king among professional services businesses because of its quintessential result-focused nature – clients do know when you create value for them.
Brave. Fast. Smart. Learning. Entrepreneurial. Top-notch. These are the tags for RIM. We were young, promising and ambitious. So were our clients. And the market. No rules and traditions. Only genuine curiosity and unlimited energy. Fruitful soil for audacious ideas. And there were many. I am still very proud of the fantastic brands we built that nowadays enjoy national market dominance and people’s love.
Being twice recognized as Nation’s #1 and The Most Creative Agency was nice, but much greater was fun of working with the most talented entrepreneurs who were brave enough to let us do what we thought was right for their business. It paid off well as today these brands worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

"Wow! I would loooove working here!" exclaimed young chemist after the interview in start-up ad agency in start-up ad industry. Being the first employee in Client Services department in charge for agency's first Client, Italian sweets producer Ferrero, who was the #1 advertiser in Ukraine at the time, means a lot of "firsts" ahead.
When there is no advertising but TV, every project becomes innovation. What about complete repainting subway train in brand colors? Never ever done in Ukraine before. When subway is considered a closed facility of military strategic importance. When everyone says "No". When nobody knows how to do it. But what if there is a small chance? Keep trying chemist, enjoy the process and the miracle will happen.
The impossible is possible when you don't know it's impossible.
